Ranch Details
This large acreage ranch is located in northeast Oregon in GMU unit 53. Closest town would be La Grande in which has all the local amenities and an airport.
This ranch is a working cattle ranch and is abundant with water and agriculture providing great habitat for all the Wildife that are present in the area. We have taken control of this ranch in which has provided phenomenal success on trophy elk & deer hunts for many years now. The rut in particular is very exciting and fun on this ranch.
Lodging and food are onsite, although local options within town can be arranged.
We've worked with the owner to establish a very strict and proper management plan that will represent the area and animal quality very well for years to come. Listed below are what options we are currently offering to hunt this ranch. Tags are very limited
Elk Hunts
We have a few options for elk hunts in the state of Oregon, trophy hunts, management bull hunts and cow elk hunts. Food lodging and guide services are included on all of these hunts.

Trophy bulls 300-340" on average

Cow tags are guaranteed although we have a quota on how many we harvest per year

Management bulls are bulls with bent or deformed pedicles, older digressed bulls, large 5 points or club bulls which are all present on the ranch

Archery Season runs August 29th-September 27th

Rifle season runs from October 28th-Nov 2nd

Cow Hunts are done after bull elk hunt seasons

Rut hunts provide 10/10 experience

We run n o more than 7 trophy hunts per year for elk on this ranch
This unit is listed under the Eagle Cap Zone for archery and Catherine Cr Unit for rifle season.

deer hunts
Just like the elk options above we have trophy and management deer hunts for Muledeer while also providing the opportunity for whitetail that are present on the ranch. Trophy tags again are very limited. Oregon has as of recent changed their entire mule deer management plan and has made some unit to zone changes. Doing so will make it a little tricky to know what exactly is needed as far as points goes for guaranteed draw.

This hunt zone is listed as the Elk Horn Zone for Muledeer. Draw odds for rifle are uncertain at this time although archery is guaranteed draw based off past draw odds reports.
